Lime kiln is the main equipment for calcining active lime. It is a type of rotary kiln, also known as active lime rotary kiln.
It is suitable for the iron and steel industry to use blast furnace gas and coke oven gas, as well as the chemical industry and calcium carbide industry to use calcium carbide furnace tail gas or mixed combustion with pulverized coal and other technologies to achieve the purpose of improving lime quality and saving energy, and calcining high-quality active lime.

Limestone, cement clinker, bauxite, activated lime, aluminum hydroxide, etc.
The structure of lime rotary kiln is advanced, and the low-pressure loss vertical preheater can effectively improve the preheating effect. After preheating, the decomposition rate of limestone into kiln can reach 20-25%, and the fine-grained limestone of 10-15 mm can be directly used.
Lime rotary kiln reliable combination of both ends of the rotary kiln scale seal. The air leakage coefficient is less than 10% using compound refractory to reduce radiant heat loss.
The circular or square vertical cooler with filling and partitioning ventilation in the lime rotary kiln makes the lime temperature of the outlet cooler 800C+ambient temperature, which is convenient for transportation and storage, and preheates the secondary air into the kiln to over 700 C, thus reducing the number of moving parts and special materials.
Qualified limestone enters the cylinder from the kiln tail cylinder at high temperature for calcination.
Due to the tilt and slow rotation of the kiln body, the material produces a compound movement that not only rolls along the circumferential direction, but also moves along the axial direction from high to low.
Limestone goes through decomposition, firing and cooling processes in the kiln. After being fired into qualified finished products, it is discharged from the lower end of the kiln barrel and enters the cooling machine.
The fuel is injected from the kiln head and burned in the kiln. The heat emitted heats the raw meal, causing the raw meal to be calcined into clinker. The hot air formed during the heat exchange with the material enters the kiln tail system from the kiln feed end. It is then discharged into the atmosphere through the chimney.
